    Default EGR removal pro’s/con’s

I searched “egr” and got nothing, I’d like to know about this valve, I threw a P0402 code and I’m not looking forward
To pulling to clean it or replace it. And if Block it I don’t not the “check engine” light to come on because it’s gone..

I have cleaned the MAS it was a bit oily, and cleaned the after market (Banks) air cleaner cleared the code and it’s Ok now
    But....

Cleaning the EGR is a maintenance cycle item, and more often with power mods. Also, K&N (as well as any oiled gauze) air filters are notorious for fouling MAF's. Fortunately MAF cleaning is a piece of cake.
