    Default 94 3500 Oil problem.

    Hey guys. Posted awhile back that my 6.5L has an oil problem
    Drove it and the drivers side had oil all over the place.

    From the valve cover to the oil pan.
    Most wet spot was behind the drivers front tire.
    So thought maybe dipstick o-ring going into the oil pan.

    Cleaned everything. Nothing. You can idle the rig and look and see nothing leaking. Drive the rig a mile or two down the road and smoke and oil everywhere.

    Now, I’m no diesel expert. But, I’m guessing something high pressure.

    Seeming how it only spits oil while driving only. I can sit in the truck and stomp the gas pedal and have someone looking and nothing.

    Check dipstick after driving. An barely any oil is gone off of it.
    So that tells me just a small leak somewhere getting blowed into a huge mess.

    Fan is dry. Everything is dry except for drivers side. I can Not figure this one out.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    The oil cooler lines are a likely suspect for that location.

    Absolutely positive it's engine oil and not powersteering fluid?
