Rob really came though. I now have an updated module and will be testing it out on another trip into northern Utah. Edge has done an excellent job in keeping me up to date and with no problems dealing with them. They have my recomendations.

The Edge is working as advertised. I am happy with the way it is working.. The boys down at Edge have sure been on the ball with this one. Thanks to Rob and the engineering department they have it dialed in. Thanks to all at Edge.

Hey, sounds like you are having a great time with your rig.

I have a question because your statement that you have a LBZ and not a LLY is confusing me. From all I've read, the LBZ and 06+ LLY are physically the same engine just with a different computer tune. If that is the case then why would the reprogram of the ECM matter for either engine? Is the Edge adding to the factory program or reprogramming it?

The sad part is that our Kodiak Seneca specs are even less than the LLY's which for 06 should be 310hp 605 tq, the LBZ is 360hp/650 tq.

You are correct that the LBZ and +06 are the same in all ways physically. The Vin on my rig says that I have an early model LLY which shouldn't be the same but when trying to read the ECM it would not communicate with the Tech II. My Seneca is registered as an 06 but the chassis was an 05. The coach manufacturer gets to call the year model. It was found that the engine and drive line are 06 or real late 05 and had the ECM and tune and therefore the LBZ,+06 engine and drive components. To communicate with the ECM, TCM you have to use a CANBUS Tech II. That was what had to be done with mine.. That was the tip off to the LBZ. Hope that this makes sense.
When I ordered my Edge components I ordered them as 04.5, 06. They didn't work. When I went up to Ogden to Edge they tried another set of the same with the same results. They put the Tech II on and it wouldn't read the ECM so they tried the CanBus reader and it did read the ECM. That was how I found that I had the later engine and ECM.

Ah, got'cha. Yeah that VIN is a bit confusing at to whether it's an early LLY or a late. It would be interesting to find out if the Edge gives you the Kodiak hp/tq plus the advertised numbers or the truck LLY hp/tq plus adds. What speed are you holding on the hills? My Seneca 35gs stock is holding about 45-50 going up to Tahoe, about a 7% grade. Fully loaded (water and fuel) towing a 1800 lb Geo Tracker.

The ECM on the LBZ and 2006 LLY is Bosch. On the earlier trucks it is Delphi.
