Diesel where I live in Ventura CA increased 25 cents in the last week to $3.15 per gallon. It's still better than the $5.25 high that cost me $230 to fill up my tank.

Since I got my little HHR "backup" a couple years ago, I've greatly reduced my use of the truck, reserve it now for only occasions when I need to haul something big/heavy in the bed, pulling a trailer or snow plowing my driveway. That being said, I haven't put fuel in the truck since first week of September. We're finally getting some snow here and I had to break out the truck and plow last week and I may need to use the heavy 4wd to commute to work a few days coming up if we get deep drifting, so I went to town a couple of days ago and fueled up the OEM tank. $2.89 at the local Flying J, 25 gallons hit me for $72. I still have a half a tank in the in-bed aux (about 20 gallons) that I'm trying to burn off now, but it's probably not winter blend and could be an issue if the temps go really low.

Use a few ounces of power services white bottle it will lower the cloud point.
I ran one entire winter using summer blend and that stuff.

We have a OLD old man in the White House…and I have a hard time believing 80 million people were this wrong.
He’s now blaming Putin for the price of fuel..

Can we survive another 3 years of this fool?

I miss the mean tweets and $1.80 a gallon fuel…

I filled up about 3 weeks ago at a (nearly) local Chevron (central CA), about 20 gallons #2 and 10 gallons gas (cans). Diesel was ~$5.79/gal, and reg. gas was ~$5.29. I would have felt better if someone were holding a gun on me at the time. I will have to repeat in a few days, and expect it to be at least a buck more /gal. each, maybe 2. This was preventable, but I am certain it is part of (a) plan.

Just checked Gas Buddy for Knoxville TN diesel $3.99 - $5.39
Truck stops are the highest even when next to a small station with diesel for $4.99 but cant get a truck and trailer near the pumps. And the small stations would take an hour to fill those big tanks. Tried to get 35 gallons with a $1 discount and the store stopped my card at $125.00. 3 1/2 gallons short.

My prices are $1.709 for Reg Gas and 1.789 for ULSD,others in town are $2.00 a liter for gas and over $2.24 for ULSD
I got this fuel two weeks ago, will be ordering a load for next week.
Anyone who complains about high prices here, doesn't shop around in our town.
