    Default Trans flush

    Hi,
I went to do my trans service and I seen that I do not have adapter to hook to my trans flush machine the trans line that goes to the radiator is to big for the adapters I have. I was wondering if anybody has some old trans lines that they can cut the ends off where they go to the radiator. I would buy the ends if someone has them. This is for a 04 LB7 Thanks

    Buellxb,

Most here flush the Allison by disconnecting the cooler return line at the transmission and running the engine.

Here are two threads that outline the flush method I’ve used with my 03 …

    Yet another Transynd flush ?

Also, here's a link to Allison Service Tip 1099E (1000 Series used in GM pickups) ...

FWIW, note the following quote ...
"Flushing Machines are not recommended or recognized due to variation and inconsistencies with ensuring removal of 100% of theused fluid."
